Shah Rukh Khan will soon become the first Indian actor to produce two films worth 1000 crore each or the equivalent of IDR 2.06 trillion in the same year. The two films starring the King of Bollywood are Jawan and Pathaan.
The film Jawan , which was just released on Thursday, September 7 2023, is currently ruling the box office. This action thriller film has set many records at the Indian box office, including being the Bollywood film with the highest opening. Jawan collected 65.50 crores on its release day and earned 129.6 crores at the worldwide box office.
Jawan has now earned 500 crore in its first week. Crore is a unit of the Indian number system. 1 crore is equal to IDR 2.06 billion. So, Jawan has pocketed IDR 1.03 trillion in less than a week of showing in cinemas in various countries.

It is expected that the figure will continue to climb past 1000 crore at the box office and become Shah Rukh Khan’s second film to cross the milestone.
Previously, this 57-year-old Bollywood actor managed to earn his first 1000 crore in January 2023 with the film Pathaan . At that time the film broke the opening day record for an Indian language film, with an international gross of US$12.7 million.
On the other hand, director SS Rajamouli was the first person to break this record by releasing two films, namely Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) and RRR (2022).
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Jawan also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Setupathi in the main roles. The film Jawan tells the story of a man who is punished for a mistake he did not make. Jawan will see the story of the man overcoming the situation and the way out of the problem.
