Randeep Hooda has announced that he is getting married to actor Lin Laisharam. The couple jointly announced the news of their marriage on Saturday on social media site.
Their wedding will be performed on November 29. The statement reads: “Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, We are getting married with the blessings from our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th Of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur followed by a reception in Mumbai.
As we set to embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. In love and light, Lin and Randeep(sic)” Randeep Hooda will soon be seen in ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’, a film based on Indian freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. He also has ‘Unfair and Lovely’ with Ileana D’Cruz and ‘Laal Rang 2’ in the pipeline.
Who is Lin Laishram?
She is a model and actress from Manipur. She was discovered by Elite Modelling Agency Mumbai, India where she was a regular at fashion events like the India Fashion Week, New York Bridal Week and is seen on print and TVCs in India and elsewhere.
She has worked in movies such as ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Mary Kom’, ‘Umrika’, ‘Rangoon’, ‘Axone’, and ‘Jaane Jaan’. On the other hand, Hooda, who began his Bollywood career with ‘Monsoon Wedding’, is currently busy with ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’. The movie is a biopic of freedom fighter VD Savarkar. He will be also seen in ‘Laal Rang 2’ in which he will be sharing screen space with Ileana D’Cruz.
