Marc Marquez will decide which racing team he will play for in the 2024 MotoGP Grand Prix. It is currently rumored that he will join the Ducati Gresini Racing satellite team next season.
However, he also has the opportunity to stay with the factory Honda team in the 2024 MotoGP. Marc Marquez also admitted that he would reveal which racing team he would join after the 2023 Indian MotoGP.
“There is plan A, plan B, and plan C. The three ideas are very clear, what needs to be done for each of them. But there’s not much time. There’s a deadline. “Around the Indian and Japanese (GPs) I will decide,” said Marc Marquez, quoted from the official MotoGP website.
The Honda factory team racer previously admitted that he was not bothered by transfer rumors about his move next season. He ensured that these issues did not interfere with his performance on the racing track.
“It’s not a distraction for me, it’s part of the job and on Thursday I fueled speculation. “I enjoy it, but at 30 years old I am also focused on the racing arena, with my team, and trying to get the best out of it. But yes, that’s part of the job and that’s okay,” he said, quoted from Speedweek.
Marc Marquez himself completed the Misano MotoGP test session on Monday, September 11 2023. On this occasion he managed to rank 14th with a time of 1 minute 31.574 seconds. He also commented on the Honda RC213V prototype.
“The riding style is quite different but, in the end, the problem is the same, so we have to keep working. Of course, you always expect more. If this is the base, if this is the bike, then we have come a long way. We need to work and change a lot of things,” said Marc Marquez.
