Delhi News Highlights: Court Grants Bail to Cow Vigilante Bittu Bajrangi in Nuh Violence Case

Delhi News Highlights (August 30): Two weeks after being arrested in connection with Nuh violence, a court on Wednesday granted bail to cow vigilante Bittu Bajrangi, police said. Bajrang Dal leader Raj Kumar (better known as Bittu Bajrangi) was arrested by Nuh police on August 15 in connection with the violence that broke out in the district during a religious yatra on July 31. According to sources, he was granted bail by the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Sandeep Kumar Duggal on the submission of a bail amount of Rs 50,000.

Meanwhile, a senior manager at Amazon was shot dead and a street vendor was injured after five men opened unprovoked fire on them in Northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura. DCP (Northeast) Joy Tirkey said Harpreet Gill, Amazon employee had been shot in his head and he was declared dead at Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital. Govind Singh, another injured was referred to LNJP. “It was found that Harpreet and Govind were on their bike when five boys on a scooty came and intercepted them and opened unprovoked fire and ran away from the spot. “CCTV of the area is being scanned and all the accused are currently absconding,” said the DCP.
